About the event
Come to Middle Earth for out MTG: The Hobbit prerelease. This event is geared towards players of all experience levels, and is a great way to dip your toes into the world of Magic: The Gathering in a friendly, low pressure environment. Each player will receive a pre-release kit containing 6 draft booster packs and one foil promo rare/mythic promo pack with which to build a 40-card minimum deck for a friendly, informal three-round tournament. Rounds are 50 Minutes with 50 Minutes for deck Construction after a 10 minute Box handout and rules description. At the end of the 50 Minute round you will have 5 turns and then the game immediately ends. Prize pool is 1 for each player in attendance and each player will receive an additional participation booster at the end of round 2.
